Sunrise, sunrise
I haven't been sleeping very well lately, so much so that I'm usually still up when the sun rises. Well yesterday morning, for the first time, I actually went out and watched it come up from the beach which was lovely. It was so quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend watching the sunrise at least once!

New Prints
British Biscuits - 8 x 10 print. Originally done in watercolour and ink.
Love Speaks - 8 x 10 print. Inked and then coloured digitally.
Instagram Display
Instagram is a fab app for your iPhone which I'm sure most people know by now, but how many people actually print off their photos?
I made a point earlier in the year to get some of my favourites printed so I could make a display and here's the result! I decided not to go for a standard shape as I want to add more as I take them and get them printed.
If you're looking for a good place to get your photos printed, I got mine done at Photobox. I order all my photos from there and they always look wonderful!

New Print
Not All Who Wander Are Lost - Now available as an 8 x 10 print at my etsy and folksy shops.
I had a bit of excitement the other day as I made my first sale! So thank you!
I also just got some more prints done of newer work and I'm really pleased with how they've turned out. I shall be updating my shops over the coming week with these.
Packaging
I had some 12x12 card stock left over from my scrapbooking days so stamped on that on a few different colours as many times as I could, cut them up and then stuck a bit of washi tape on the back of each to jazz them up a bit. I'm really pleased with how they've turned out! They're by no means perfect, but I like them!
As for the rest, I printed out some small versions of my prints, added a free sticker and then grabbed a vintage book and used a paper punch to make some hearts. All finished off by popping everything in a small glassine bag and securing with more washi tape.

New Watercolour
Spent yesterday working on this piece. I am so, so pleased with how it turned out. I didn't really know where it was going when I started sketching (using this delightful photo I found on Pinterest). I ended up whipping out my watercolours and went from there, adding more detail and shading as I went along.
It's lovely to see something finished, especially when you didn't perhaps intend for it to look the way it does.
In other news, I have opened my etsy shop! Most of my available prints are there, I have one or more to add. I've been quite enjoying setting up shop again (I use to own a craft supply and handmade gifts shop there). I don't have high expectations, so we'll see how it goes.
